The FLEUR Wine Awards Judging

The FLEUR Wine Awards honor excellence in winemaking through a professional blind-tasting process conducted during the opening days of the festival. Judged privately on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, the awards recognize wines of distinction for their balance, expression, structure, and overall artistry.

Winners will be officially revealed during the Sunday Evening Awards Presentation, followed by a Winner’s Tasting Reception featuring a curated selection of award-winning wines.

The First Rosé Toast of the FLEUR Weekend

An intimate opening night whisper, The Red Rock Reserve: First Blush invites guests to the first rosé toast of the FLEUR weekend through a select chef presentation and a curated rosé tasting at a private residence in Sedona. Romantic, refined, and quietly celebratory, this invitation-style gathering unfolds in the warmth of sunset and candlelight—an elegant beginning where floral beauty, culinary artistry, and the first blush of evening set the tone for all of the magic to follow.

The FLEUR Vineyard Prelude

Opening Day Wine Experiences

The FLEUR Vineyard Prelude begins the festival weekend with a celebration of the vineyards that inspire it. On the opening day of the festival, select wineries throughout the Verde Valley and surrounding wine regions welcome FLEUR guests for special open house tastings and vineyard visits.

Festival guests are invited to explore participating wineries, enjoy curated tasting experiences, and meet the vintners whose craftsmanship is shaping Arizona’s growing wine culture. These relaxed gatherings provide an elegant introduction to the weekend before guests return to Sedona for the festival’s evening celebrations.

The Sedona Premiere

An Opening Night Celebration of Sedona’s Culinary and Cultural Spirit

The Sedona Premiere ceremonially opens FLEUR with an evening honoring the land, its culinary stewards, and the region’s evolving wine identity. Anchored by a curated selection of Verde Valley winemakers, the gathering formally introduces The Seven of Sedona -seven chefs selected annually in recognition of sustained excellence and their defining contribution to Sedona’s contemporary culinary landscape- alongside the festival’s Indigenous Culinary Honorees, acknowledging the layered cultural history of the region. The evening culminates in the unveiling of Floralia Barocca, a dramatic floral exhibition inspired by baroque composition and infused with elements of Sedona’s natural landscape including native flora, desert textures, and the tonal palette of the red rocks which will create a living expression of artistry and place that sets the aesthetic tone for the weekend ahead.

The Salons of FLEUR are curated, limited-capacity tasting experiences presented within The Grand Pavilion. Structured and guided, each salon offers a focused exploration of wine, chocolate, or cultural influence through a composed, seated format. Led by sommeliers, makers, and subject authorities, the Salons provide depth, context, and refinement beyond the general tasting environment — inviting guests into a more intimate study of taste.

The Arizona Wine Summit

The Arizona Wine Summit is an annual moderated leadership forum exploring the future of Arizona wine. Bringing together winemakers, vineyard stewards, and industry leaders, the Summit examines elevation, climate, sustainability, innovation, and the region’s growing national presence. Structured as a focused dialogue within The FLEUR Dialogues program, the Summit positions Arizona not only as a participant in the American wine landscape, but as a defining voice of the high desert.

Set at a breathtaking private estate in Sedona, The Red Rock Reserve: La Table Française offers an intimate French expression of gastronomy, wine, and place. Presented by five chefs presenting French cuisine and paired with a distinguished selection of French wines, the evening unfolds as a candlelit progression of culinary refinement—an immersive celebration where the traditions of the French table are reimagined beneath the red rocks. Romantic, transportive, and exquisitely paced, La Table Française stands as FLEUR’s Signature International Estate Dinner: a rare evening shaped by beauty, terroir, and the art of lingering well.

CINEFLEUR: A Prelude to Le Tasting Grandeur

A curated cinematic program of documentary and experimental works exploring food, wine, floral artistry, and visual culture. Presented as an artistic prelude, CINEFLEUR reflects the philosophy of The Art of Taste and sets the tone for the evening’s formal culinary experience.

🇪🇸 Spain — 2026 International Feature Salon

For 2026, FLEUR presents Spain as its International Feature in recognition of both its global influence and its historic connection to the American Southwest. Spain’s defining wine regions — from Rioja and Ribera del Duero to Priorat and Rías Baixas — reflect a tradition of terroir-driven craftsmanship that continues to shape contemporary wine culture. Acknowledging Sedona’s layered cultural history and the enduring presence of Spanish culinary influence in the region, the Spain Feature Salon offers a focused, guided exploration within The Tasting Pavilion. Through a curated selection of producers and regions, FLEUR honors Spain’s depth, character, and lasting contribution to the language of fine wine.

Awards Ceremony

The Awards Ceremony serves as the formal conferral of FLEUR’s highest distinctions. In a composed and ceremonial setting, honors are bestowed across wine, culinary, and floral disciplines, including the presentation of The FLEUR Award. Defined by clarity and gravitas, the ceremony represents the culminating institutional moment of the festival.

The Laureates Reception

Following the Awards Ceremony, The Laureates Reception offers a composed celebration of the weekend’s honorees. Award-winning wines are poured exclusively as guests gather within The Tasting Pavilion, where the festival’s signature chocolate sculpture is unveiled in its final form. Our national and international chocolatiers will present Reflections of Chocolate-A Mirrored Exhibition of cacao as medium and muse. Illuminated floral installations and a refined charcuterie presentation complete the setting, creating an elegant and celebratory close to FLEUR.
